Athenry Graveyards

Impact GIS recently completed drone surveys of three graveyards in Athenry County Galway. This is the first step in mapping the graveyards and recording their memorials.

Detailed orthophotography of each of the graveyards was generated from the drone survey, which is to be used as the background layer to a new app which is being developed by Galway County Council, Galway Rural Development and Impact GIS.
