Graveyard Survey & Mapping
Impact GIS Limited is delighted to have received support through the LEADER Programme 2014-2020 towards software and equipment for its Graveyard Survey & Mapping project in County Galway.
For the last couple of years Impact GIS has been working with Galway County Council‘s Heritage Office and GIS Section, and Galway Rural Development developing a new system for mapping graveyards and their memorials. The new system includes, drone surveying and cloud based GIS solutions hosted by Galway County Council, to help local community groups record their graveyards.
